Small Town Tucked Away By the Superstitions

Gold Canyon is a town on the very eastern edge of the Phoenix metro. It is technically an unincorporated city located east of Apache Junction and pays Pinal County taxes and services. There are about 10,000 people living in Gold Canyon, with a nice mix of retirement and family communities. Gold Canyon has a several mile gap from its nearest neighbor (Apache Junction) and is otherwise bordered on all sides by various federal and state lands, making it a quiet and somewhat secluded place with excellent views of the Superstition Mountains and easy access to great hiking trails, natural wildlife running through your yard such as quail, rabbits, and dove, and a very starry night due to the limited number of street lights.
